In June 2024, Fondation Coup de Cœur is donating 1 million pounds of potatoes to the 19 Moissons of Quebec. Transportation is generously provided free of charge by Moissonneurs Solidaires.

Dear Ms. Champagne,

We hope this message finds you well.

In 2013, my partner Fatima Lahmami Langlois and I established a small private foundation called Fondation Coup de Cœur (FCC). (https://www.fondationcoupdecoeur.org)
Despite our limited resources, our ongoing commitment has allowed us to provide clean drinking water to over one million people in 40 countries to date.

In 2022, one of our partners suggested they would be more inclined to increase their financial support to the Foundation if we engaged in a community-based project here in Quebec.
After exploring several possibilities, we met with Mr. Ronald Lussier, Executive Director of Moissonneurs Solidaires in Lotbinière, and decided that FCC would expand its mission to include food assistance within Quebec.

Today, we are pleased to inform you that FCC is offering, free of charge during the month of July 2024, one million pounds of potatoes to all 19 Moissons of Quebec as well as their 15 affiliated partners (including remote areas such as Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Val-d'Or, and others).
The full distribution of these potatoes across Quebec will be handled by Moissonneurs Solidaires.

We kindly ask that you respond to this offer as soon as possible.

As with all our past projects, we hope this initiative will meet FCC’s two main criteria for success: Impact and Sustainability.
