Dear Mr. Gagnon and Fatima,

I am pleased to submit the project completion Report #4 of 5, in reference to the projects # 180, 184 and 185.
A total of 2,825 residents in Isaipeta, Mugdum Thanda and and Chorgaon villages in Telangana state, India, now have access to water. Your continued partnership has made a significant impact on the lives of the villagers. Our big thanks go to Marcel and Luce Baril for their generous contributions.
Isaipeta village, in Kamareddy District, Telangana, first approached us a decade ago regarding the proposed project. A feasibility study was conducted; however, we came to know that another organization was already active in the region. To avoid duplicating efforts, we decided not to proceed with the project at that time. Subsequently, the village independently installed a water plant managed by a small team.
Unfortunately, due to lack of community involvement nor good leadership, the project did not go well and had to be shut down within a few years. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic worsened the situation as the village faced severe water shortages, complicating access to neighboring villages due to pandemic restrictions. Recognizing the urgent need, Gayatri, the village Sarpanch, along with the support of Naresh, a ward member, and Subbaramayya, a local business owner, approached us once more to request for a new water project in their village. They are committed to implementing a community-owned initiative and adhering to the said project criteria. As soon as the project was approved, a water committee was formed, and mobilization efforts started. Making use of the existing infrastructure from the previous water plant, including room facilities and a raw water supply, eased the process of their local contribution. They
mobilized the families and secured family memberships, with the goal of ensuring at least 90% village participation by the project inauguration. Accordingly, they actively participated, and we were able to complete the project successfully. They will receive regular trainings and will be followed by our team.
Your generous support played a crucial role in realizing this project and significantly improving their lives.
We thank you once again for providing access to clean and safe drinking water for not only Isaipeta but also to Mugdum Thanda and Chorgan communities by providing bore wells (manual hand pumps) close to their homes.

Thank you once again for your invaluable contributions.
