Good day Mr. Gagnon and Mrs Lahmami,

Once again, thank you for your continued support for a multitude of farmers in India through our Sopar organization in Gatineau.
Last February, Mr. Marcel and Mrs. Luce Baril made a generous donation to your Foundation Coup de Cœur to install water purification systems and manual pumping wells in multiple villages in India.
I am writing today to inform you that three of their projects are now completed. These projects, at a total cost of $ 29,100, will impact more than 2,710 villagers in a precarious situation. They now have an easy and affordable access to safe drinking water, and that's not all, thanks to Sopar's approach, the villagers will take charge of each of the projects, which will ensure the smooth running of operations and the sustainability of the project. These achievements are a great source of pride for them.
Here is the testimony of Ilaiah K., a member of the water project committee in the village of Gundlasagram where one of the purification systems was installed:
"I am a farmer, as was my father and my grandfather before me. I have never been to school and I rarely get involved in village projects. However, this project is very dear to my heart and I am proud to participate because my children and the children of the village are sick because of the water we drink and I felt that I could make a difference. Now that I am a member of the committee, I participate in training and I am given opportunities to play an important role in my village. I feel useful and it gives me the taste to do even more to improve our living conditions.
In the name of Ilaiah and all the other affected villagers, I thank from the bottom of my heart Mr. Marcel and Mrs. Luce Baril and the Coup de Cœur Foundation for their openness to the world and their sense of sharing.

Affection and sincere greetings.
