Good day Mr. Gagnon & Mrs. Lahmami,

It is with joy that I am sending you today the information related to two projects that have emerged thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Céline and Mr. Jean Crépeau. These two projects, with a total cost of $ 15,000, will provide drinking water to more than 1,250 people.
The five children you see on one of the photos live in the village of Konanki where the well of the Crépeau family was built. Latha, the girl who is on the shoulders of her brother and the other children in the picture, are part of one of the disadvantaged castes of the village. Their parents are poor and illiterate. The children of Konanki had to walk 2 km before the construction of their well to reach the often contaminated  source of water, the closest to their village. In India, it is the girls who have traditionally been tasked with helping their mothers with water supply. This has a significant negative impact on their schooling and also leads that women have little time to look after their families and have small jobs. The two projects of the Crépeau family give hope and dignity in a world where access to drinking water is impossible for more than a billion people. Together we change the world one project at a time.

On behalf of the families of the villages of Konanki and Gadicherlapalli, thank Mr. and Mrs. Crépeau for their gesture of solidarity and humanity.
