The Commission scolaire de Laval has several elementary schools in disadvantaged areas, such as the Arc-en-ciel elementary school located in the area of ​​Pont-Viau/Laval-des-Rapides in Laval. Our school has more than 700 students from kindergarten to Grade 6 including classes of school adaptation (dysphasia). Last year, several cases of students with academic difficulties due to visual problems were reported to us and that is why we appeal to your Foundation.
Through this collaboration, we hope to offer all of our students the opportunity to have a visual screening and thus promote their academic success. Thanks to your help, the quality of life of many of our students will be greatly improved.
