Hello Jean and Fatima.

Once again, I come to solicit your financial assistance for a humanitarian project that we are carrying out with the Rotary Club of East Madras at the Hindu Mission Hospital in India and also for the purchase of equipment for a College of an orphanage at the same location.

Component 1:

The Hindu Mission Hospital in Tambaram currently requires 2 anesthetic ventilators and some other equipment for its operating rooms.
The Rotary Club of East Madras (RCME) is one of the leading Rotary Clubs in Chennai (under the Rotary International District 3230), comprising 135 members from various professional fields. Over the past three decades, our club has undertaken several projects of great social importance. Some of them are described below:
A bakery (under the brand name "Winners") has been set up to train the less fortunate in this vocation. The financial surplus of this project is used to support schools run by the government of Tamil Nadu.
In May 2014 the VHS blood bank was given a mobile blood donation bus and in March 2015, as part of the Rotary Foundation's centennial celebrations, the NGO Penn Nalam (meaning well-being Of women) was equipped with a mobile cancer screening bus. The cancer screening bus, equipped with an ultrasound machine and a blood analyzer, was judged among the 20 outstanding projects of the world (and the only one in India).

Component 2

Vocational training - Ramakrishna Polytechnic Mission (RKM):
Ramakrishna Mission Student's Home in Chennai, India, (http://www.rkmshome.org/) is home to nearly 700 disadvantaged and orphaned boys.
The Collège Polytechnique now requires hydraulic kits as well as some other vocational training equipment.
The total cost of both projects is $ 100,000.00 US and RCME plans to complete them with the leverage of a Global Grant from the Rotary Foundation.
The total funding for the project is going quite well but any participation of your Club would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you again for your faithful cooperation.
