The project:

In the community of Pasochoa in Ecuador: Construction of 2 water reservoir tanks and 6 water distribution tanks, as well as the piping (using a gravity flow technology) in order to connect them together. Thanks to this project, costing 102 000$, more than 1 500 people will have access to potable water and irrigation.

The request:

Dear Fatima end Jean,

It was a great pleasure for me to meet you at our Project Fair in Quito, in Ecuador, last week end. I am impressed by the work that you do and the diligence with which you go about it. Have you ever tabulated the number of people you have impacted with your generosity? I have visited your web page and have found it very informative and of very high quality. I congratulate you.
You may recall that my Club (Blue Lakes, in Idaho) presented a water project at the Fair. In the brochure that was distributed, it is listed as 'Water Supply-Amaguana'.
For your information, I am sending in attachment the presentation that describes the project in greater detail. We have received a first interest of support from a Rotary Club in Idaho, that however did not confirm its engagement yet. Also, interest was shown by a club in California and we are following up on that one. We hope in the next months to gather increasing financial support for this project from multiple Rotary Clubs and from Fondation Coup de Coeur.
Additionally, I really wanted to tell you that meeting you both was a very positive experience for me and that I hope we can work together in the close future. Please let me know if there are any additional informations that you might need at this point.
You notice that I have copied Bob Almquist on this message. He is a member of our committee and will be directly responsible for this project. Obviously, as the head of our Rotary Foundation committee, I will be giving him a hand whenever possible and needed.

Many warm regards to both of you from a sunny Quito.
