Own A Well's goal is to provide potable water to the poor who live in the villages of Nicaragua.
Nicaragua faces a drinking water crisis. The poorest Nicaraguan citizens and most remote villages face life-threatening danger every day they drink the dirty and often contaminated water from their hand-dug wells. Facing harsh soil conditions and economic obstacles, Nicaraguans need clean water. They need your help!
The mission is to drill water wells that provide clean water to the poorest communities in Nicaragua. Major support has been through Rotary clubs and districts nationwide, the Rotary Foundation, District 6110, and many other individuals and organizations.
