Hello Fatima and Jean,

How are you in this early spring that has been such a contrast?
On behalf of Central America Solidarity Montérégie (SMAC), we are submitting an application for funding for one of our projects in Guatemala. Part of our project for the year 2015-2016 is the drilling of a well for a school.
We have already obtained most of the funding needed by our financing activities and from the support of the Louise Grenier Foundation but as you will read in the attached project following adverse changes in the currency rate and substantial increases in the price of materials, we still lack $3,000.00.
We hope that you will support us to make possible the access to drinking water for children and teachers in this rural school. The project will also facilitate the work of mothers who come every day to prepare the snack for the children.
Our projects are always completed in the framework of a clear agreement signed by both parties and are subject to strict monitoring. In addition to the steps formally mentioned under the Agreement for the delivery of financial and narrative reports, communication by telephone and email are maintained throughout the project. Moreover, SMAC performs a field visit annually to track projects. This is an opportunity to check directly with the communities targeted the impact and sustainability of projects.

Thank you in advance for your attention to our request.
